Groups November 16, 2010

We have a variety of fellowship groups to serve the needs of all ages in our congregation.

Children:

B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers and Sisters In Christ)

Pre-K through 6th grade. Leaders are Jo Drake and Erin Wetzel.

UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship)

 Junior High and High School Students. Leaders are Jennifer Westlake and Deena Moore.

Women:

UMW (United Methodist Women) –  The United Methodist Women of Corning is a chapter of the United Methodist Women of Iowa.  Our members  participate in one of our three circles.

Men:

Men’s study meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the lounge. Join Pastor Andrew as we work through Tony Dungy’s book Quiet Strength. Come for fellowship, come to talk football, come to learn more about where God is active and leading you in your life.

Adults:

Pastor’s study join Pastor Andrew the first Wednesday in the lounge at 7pm to explore “The Greatest Story:Bible Introduction.” This study is for any and all ages of adults at all levels of Bible knowledge. Childcare is available during this study in the children’s lounge.

Bible Study meets at 2:00 each Wednesday in the lounge. Topical book study. Currently reading Just Choose Happiness.

Quilting Circle meets in the basement every Tuesday and Friday at noon. We chat, snack and of course quilt. We welcome anyone to join us. No experience necessary, we’ll teach you.
